2. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement exists with the provider.
When you visit the website, the server automatically processes technically necessary connection data: IP address, date and time, the page requested and information about your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the pages and to keep operations secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose.
3. Contact form and inquiry
If you write to us via the contact form or the inquiry form, we process your details (name, email address and, for an inquiry, additionally your address, travel dates, number of guests, preferred apartment and additional requests, as well as your phone number and message on a voluntary basis) in order to deal with your request and to get in touch with you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (inquiry to initiate a rental agreement) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering general inquiries).
Your details are not stored on the server of this website but forwarded to us by email. To send them, we use the email service provider Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor. A transfer to the USA may take place; it is based on appropriate safeguards under Art. 46 GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses.
We delete your details as soon as your inquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. after a booking) stand in the way.
4. Availability calendar
On the “Availability” page we embed calendars at your request from the portal traum-ferienwohnungen.de (in the English version of this website, from the portal’s English edition, vacation-apartments.com). Content is only loaded from this provider’s servers once you click “Load calendars”. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to the provider, and it may receive further information about your browser. The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without a click there is no connection to the provider.
5. Map (Google Maps)
In the “Contact” area of the home page you can, at your request, display a map from Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A connection to Google’s servers is only established once you click “Load map”. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Google, and Google may process further information about your browser, possibly also in the USA. The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). Without a click there is no connection to Google. By using the link “Open in Google Maps” you leave our website.
6. Fonts, cookies and tracking
The fonts used are delivered from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts. We do not set any cookies ourselves and do not use any analytics or tracking services.
7. External links
On the “The area” page we link to third-party websites. When you click a link you leave our website; the respective operators are responsible for data processing there.
8. Your rights
You have the right towards us to:
- information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),

- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdraw consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example at your place of residence or at the controller’s registered seat.
